Celebrating One Year of Motherhood
Updated: Jul 24, 2018
I did it!! I survived one year of motherhood! :)
It wasn't all rainbows and butterflies and it definitely wasn't easy; but it was all WORTH IT.
My son turned one and it is the most bittersweet feeling ever. I'm happy he is getting older and I love seeing all his little milestones; but I'm also sad because he IS getting older. The saying time flies could not be any more true. I wish I could hold on to these precious moments a little longer.
We opted out of the big over the top celebration and had two intimate celebrations with our families. Cayden was able to spend his first birthday with both sets of grandparents and aunts and uncles. He was pretty spoiled by both sets of grandparents and his aunts. I know he won't remember anything but hopefully one day he will be able to read this blog and check back on his Instagram and be able to relive the moments and know how much he was loved.
One year of motherhood down and the rest of my life to still figure it out and be the best mom I can be for my little man. I can't wait to celebrate all his many more milestones and watching him take his first steps. (He is so close!) I wouldn't give this up for anything in the world.
Mom life is the best life! <3
Here is my little man on his new trike and rocking his new varsity jacket from his aunts and uncle. :)
