Here's what I REALLY thought of these parenting books...There's sooo many parenting books out there that it's hard to know which ones are actually worth it. I'm not easy to impress when it comes to books, if it's unorganized, off topic or not interesting - I'm out. I'm glad to say these were worth the read!
I learned a lot about what secure attachment is and it provided me with a lot of tools and ideas for how to create a secure attachement with my child. It is also an excercise in reflection on your own upbringing. Good for parrents of any aged children.
⭐⭐⭐
I got exactly what I wanted from this book. I feel inspired to get outside and create a connection with nature with my child. Some of the anecdotes were a bit long and some chapters didn't apply to me (hunting for example.)
Good for rural and urban families.
Very informative, I learned more from this book about pregnancy than I did all my pregnacy courses combined. It doesn't come across as over-the-top femininst, just informative and unapologetic. Great for first-time moms
Get a mug that works as hard as you do!
I adore my Asobu mug, not just for when I'm out and about but also for using around the house.
I spend a lot of time hanging out with my baby on the floor, and with this mug I never worry about spills, even when my baby flips it upside down.
It keeps my coffee hot all morning, so even when it takes me 5 hours to drink a cup of coffee, it's still enjoyed hot.
These journals are created for moms who want a simple way to slow down and check in, without adding another thing to the to do list.
